Comic-Con 2009!
It's only 3 days until the San Diego Comic-Con! Chris and I are running around like crazy getting things ready for what will definitely be the best show we've ever done! If you've been to see us in the past 3 years, we want to let you know that we're in a new and bigger location to accomodate for all of our new stuff - Booth 1316. This is where we are on the convention center map:

Here's a preview of what's in store for you at the Fleet Street Booth!

Yuki 7 makes her San Diego debut! We will have copies of our new book, Seductive Espionage: The World of Yuki 7 for sale at Comic-Con for the very first time, along with these other items:

- Limited supply of the Collector's Edition book!
- English, Japanese, and French Yuki posters!
- Yuki 7 shirts!
- Appearances by Don Shank, Megan Brain, and Elizabeth Ito!
- Lots of other surprises!

Chris will also be unveiling this beautiful new oversized print of Phileas Fogg and his clocks from "Around the World in 80 Days", as well as an amazing screenprinted poster commissioned by The Decemberists! Here's just a small teaser:

Making Of "A Kiss From Tokyo"

Ian Albinson and Alex Ulloa over at The Art of the Title Sequence has put together a really fantastic article about the making of the Yuki 7 trailer. He interviewed me, Stephane, and Cyrille about our respective roles and views on the project for a comprehensive look at how the whole thing was put together. It's got a lot of really interesting never-before-seen things, including the very first cut of the animatic, a look at the different layers in one of my Photoshop files, and much more. You can also get a nice Quicktime file of the trailer in HD. I definitely recommend checking it out!

I forgot to mention that I was also recently interviewed at the German design website, diskursdisko. You can read that interview by clicking here.

Finally, tomorrow is the last day of the Yuki 7 show! There are still a few last pieces of gorgeous artwork you can pick up from the Gallery Nucleus website if you act fast!

Show Recap + New Posters!
The book release and art show last Friday at Nucleus was a blast! Thanks so much to everyone who came out! I've posted a recap on my blog with some gorgeous photos by Gritbox Photography! Click the picture below to check it out -

We debuted a set of four French Yuki posters at the gallery show and they're now available in our store! These are each 3-color screenprints on cream-colored art paper from an edition of only 50.

Also, just a quick note that we have restocked the Ladies' Small and Medium sizes of the Yuki T-Shirt!

Finally, we are excitedly preparing for our annual trip to San Diego Comic-Con! There will be lots more details over the next 2 weeks, but I wanted to let you know for now that Fleet Street will be at booth 1316, which is a different area from where we've been the last few years, and is closer to the entrance. We're looking forward to a great show!

Contest Winners!
Thanks to everyone who entered our Yuki 7 Giveaway, sponsored by Boing Boing! It was difficult to choose from all the fantastic entries, but here are the winners!

We shipped out close to 75% of the pre-ordered books today, and the rest will be going out tomorrow! The demand has been a bit overwhelming, but we'd like to thank everyone for their patience & support!

Also just a quick note that due to high demand we are temporarily sold out of the Yuki 7 shirt in Ladies' Small and Medium sizes, but we should have them back in stock by the end of this week!
